Hi everyone! I am redesigning my website finally and have started adding a new service of helping set up Wordpress based websites using templates/themes and I have done some setup with Zen Cart. I haven't worked from scratch on these things or anything else but have done customization of the themes and graphics using Photoshop. So, as I am getting ready to put in all of the new menus/pages and content, I am wondering how you define this type of service. I wasn't sure if Website Design would be appropriate because I don't design from a blank canvas. Am I wrong on this? I always underestimate the value of what I do so hearing from other virtual professionals would help! Thanks! Vanessa Cox

Web Design, Wordpress Customization or Wordpress Theme Customization will lead people to think you can do more than you can (from what you've stated above). All of those give the assumption you work with the code. Thanks ladies! I do work with the code, I just don't create custom templates from scratch. I modify existing templates using the StudioPress themes or any other theme that someone picks out. I guess maybe I could use the Wordpress Customization or Web Design title and go into greater detail on the page. I don't necessarily want to limit it to Wordpress since I have been doing ecommerce and some other html sites (also with templates) so I think I am leaning towards web design. Or make 2 pages. ;-) Thanks again! Vanessa

What about Web Site Templates? Then you could go into greater detail in your description. I just use "Web Sites" and then talk about WP templates, set-up, and content management services.
