I'm currently working on my services offered list. In addition to my administrative experience, I also have worked as a technical writer. Does anyone offer this service? Is there a need for it?

Have you looked for forums or LinkedIn groups about technical writing or writing in general? Also, the federal or state (if you are in the U.S.) labor department websites have a lot of information regarding trends and salaries.

IMHO, there is always a need for writers of all kinds. It's just a matter of determining where the need for your service is located so you can target that market.

Great idea! I haven't tapped into linkedin yet. I'm just now starting to research... Awesome suggestion.

Glad I could help! LinkedIn and Twitter have been invaluable resources for finding individuals and groups on various topics that I'm interested in for my business. Good luck!

Thanks again. It's so overwhelming. I need to make a list and get started.
