I've been raving to my friends about how great this industry is because that webinar was awesome! The fact that Marisa stayed online until every question was answered was amazing and as Lee said, I learnt al lot from the website assessments even though it wasn't my own site. I hope this trend continues as it's a great motivator. Thanks to everyone who organized this.

I am interested to find out what Marisa had to say about Facebook personal pages and linking them to your business page. I have yet to set up my business page, because I need to make my personal page a little more conservative in the even prospective clients take a look at it.

I wasn't able to be at the Webinar. It seems it was a gem. Will there be another any time soon?

Hi Laura, there is! I've already registered and am really looking forward to it. Marisa is hosting another free webinar today at 3 - this one is on another topic (blogging) but should prove to be very informative. More info here.

I'm a newbie too and the more research I do the more I realize how much help I need.
I just viewed marisa's webinar recording (so greatful for that opportunity).
Here's my problem... I don't have clients or a published site (still working on content). I'm at a standstill with my biz since i'm a perfectionist. This has been holding me back from moving forward with my biz so I decided to look into various training programs.
I started with Geek Labs but it was too advanced for me, since I dont even have clients.
I was about to sign up with AssistU..... when I discovered Marisa! (she's da bomb)
Now I don't know what to do I can't afford both.
Can the VA vets please give some insight? I feel like, once I can get "my story" and message down first, things will fall into place. BUT what if I miss important basics that I don't know I should have and could have gotten from assistU.
Lets go ladies!! Spill the beans!! What would you do if you were a newbie?! And no politically correct answers either!

Beatrice,

I guess we first need to know are you looking to enhance your skill level or craft your brand. I have not done any programs with AssistU so I cannot comment on that. I have signed up for Marissa's program since I am in the next steps phase. Reworking and rebranding to some very specific skills that I have enhanced over the years.

What I can say about M2M is that both webinars I have sat on with Marissa have been chalk full of ideas and actions to put into your business. I am excited to see what else she will be bringing to the table. Couple that with the guarantee and that she answers all questions, spending time needed to answer them is rare in any training program.

I would make a list of questions or problems that you are having to get started and then make you decision based on who can get you unstuck.

Thanks for the response. After I posted the question some people may feel awkward choosing one program over another.
Truth is, as a newbie I need both skill set AND branding. I have general admin skills but I wanna get my site off to a good start.
BTW I did more research and decided to go with M2M too. C u there!!
