I love taking online courses. I have seemed to learn more doing online courses than sitting in a class thinking of what I could be doing in those hours. Just for me, online courses give me a certain structure. Thats just me.

I build online classes for organizations that have to have them or certain businesses that require refresher classes and have heard from tons of people how much nicer it is to sit at home and take a class at their own pace rather than have to spend a few hours in a boring classroom.... It can be challenging at times getting the instructors to present the materials in a way that is interesting and interactive, though.

yeah, we can do that..

I love online classes, especially those for virtual assistance (since our work is done virtual, it's a good learning experience). I'm currently finishing up my VA Certificate through Red Deer College Virtual Assistance Certificate, and it has been an amazing time. The professors are awesome and you get a recognized certificate at the end.

I prefer online classes, but do usually take one classroom class per semester as well just to feel connected since much of what I do is online. I like to interact with people every once in a while.

I like both, although I don't like to drive, so a live class has to be close or within public transportation.

I've taken several online classes. It really depends on the instructor & the book they base the class on. I've taken several technical classes through my 'online programming guru.' I like his teaching style & also the books he bases his classes on. The classes are usually $300-$400 & run from 12-16 weeks. I'm surprised how few students make it past chapter 3, though.
