I'm just designing mine since I'm getting started, but I'll likely put a PO Box on there. It'll have the city/state I'm based in, and I can't imagine clients being unhappy to not have my home address, since they'll realize that I work from home.

For now, I'm using the title "Virtual Administrator" but may change it on the next batch with all the comments of this thread.

Shelley,
Enjoyed your response...my business card has no title but my business name, Virtual Assistant Services is under my name.

This is almost funny - My title is Chief Handshaker. Yes, it really says that. It also shows you why you should not have 15 windows open at the same time. I was making my cards in VistaPrint, taking advantage of the free 250 and trying to figure out what to put - went through everything from Managing Director to Virtual Assistant. Chief Handshaker is an actual title at, I think, Google. I was in a forum or something and noticed that they had titles like "Rock Star" and "Chief Handshaker". I laughed at the C.H. one as I was thinking that really does kind of say it all - it's about building relationships and all that. But I really thought I was going with the screen that said "Virtual Assistant" when I approved. Pay Attention, Kathy! Haven't decided yet whether to go with it or just order more. lol

I am putting Owner/Virtual Assistant. I don't know maybe an ego thing but I like to see owner by my name.

I have Virtual Assistant/Owner on my cards. I feel that if I didn't put Virtual Assistant, many small businesses would not remember what my business offers (as it's not incredibly well known in Australia as it is overseas).

Great question! Right now I have "Owner/Lead Consultant" on mind. I found that quite a few people did not know what Virtual Assistant was, so I changed it to something more universal...although I will probably change it again one day

I am in the process of creating my business cards and am not sure I want to put virtual assistant because I plan on doing local business too. I have been playing with Administrative Outsourcing Consultant. Seems a bit wordy though! lol

Hi

I don't think virtual assistant would limit you for local work. I believe more and more recognize what a VA is and that has helped so much. One recommendation if you do use Administrative Outsourcing Consultant you might want to follow up with a tagline - Office assistance when you need it most. (That's lame, but just wanted to give an idea.)

Thanks!

Thanks Diana! I think I will stick with virtual assistant because, as you said, more and more people are recognizing the term. Also, even though I plan to attract as many local clients as I can, I want them to know they can order services over the internet and let businesses further away know they can go online to reach me as well. That I am not just doing business with local customers only.
