I was wondering that question as well. So I just put owner on my cards. I was told not to put my home address on my cards. What is the group census on that? I didn't put it on mine. I was just curious about that.

I like the "Your Virtual Assistant...", but still on the fense about the owner and such title. I think Virtual assistant kind covers everythig.

I thought of using a P.O. Box but someone once told me that could be a bad idea because people don't trust P.O. Boxes.

Hi,

I wouldn't put my home address on my cards. You never know who might show up at your house especially off hours. Plus, if things go south with a client I'd rather they not come to my house.

I don't have employees and Virtual Assistance is in my business name some I didn't give myself a title

I suppose it does look more professional to have your address on your business card. However, if you work from home then I guess you don't want all & sundry turning up on your doorstep. Also, as careful as I am to protect my address from identity thieves - I shred everything with my address on before it goes in the bin - and so I don't want to give something out with my address on if I don't know where it's going to end up. So for that reason, I don't put my address on my cards.

I have had quite a few people ask me where I'm based and I just tell them what town I'm in. Some people guess that I work from home. But I think that it's becoming more & more fashionable to work from home these days, so I don't mind if people guess that.

Thanks for all the input about putting my home address on my business cards. I didn't do it, but I wanted to get some feedback for when I have to order more cards.

Just another thought, if you really want to put an address on your business cards. There are companies who provide a virtual address service, where you use their office premises' address as your business forwarding address. However, it will cost you for this service. If you want to go down that route, just Google "virtual address in" and your town.

Thank you for your suggestions. I had read about the virtual address but voted against that one. I will see how this card goes without my address on it.I think that I have enough contact information on my card: 800#, fax#, email & website address on the front. The back has services provided and hours of operation. If that isn't info, then I don't know what to tell them

Like everyone said too many crazies out here to have someone come knocking on the front door.

I have my name and then under that Virtual Assistant, I hope anyone picking up my business card would immediately know what it is i do and who i am.
