I have added the facebook, twitter and linkedin icon with my handle on the back of my business cards. My next batch I am going to add the QR code. Thank you Janine for the helpful information.

I also used the "list of services" on the back of my card. I do like the VA definition idea as well...

Bula (Greetings) ... thank you all, I am in the process of making my business card, and I've gathered very valuable information from this forum.

Here in Fiji, I'm not very sure, how many people are aware of the VA service, so a brief description of a VA would be ideal, with a summary of the major services I provide.

Cheers to a another successful day.

I have the QR code on the back of mine, which has gotten so many hits and raises curiosity. Half the traffic that's come in through my site has been from people on their smart phones. I see a lot of iPhones looking at it and think it's amazing!

I had a lady at work who said "this shows you're into the latest technology and are versatile". She checked out the site when she got home and told me it was a great idea to include the QR code.

I think putting a list of what VAs can do and what your services are, are good ideas. If you have a blog or other online sites, you could list that as well.

I was thinking of a to-do-list with little check boxes for each item listed and a few check boxes left blank. The items would be things that I could be doing for them.

How many times have we thrown something out, then thought later of someone who could've use it? With this in mind, how about a message on the back that says something like...."Please pass this card on to someone who may have a need (or who may benefit)!"
This way, it will spark someone's memory who wasn't "thinking."

Just an idea...

I like the idea of putting the definition of VA on the back - or some of the services - I learned the hard way about calendars - after the year is through - so are your cards - in this case I did large postcards - they looked great but would have been a lot better if I could have continued to use the leftovers. I agree the back of the card is open marketing space!

I think putting tasks you have done before, which is similar to what a VA can do, is another idea to put on the back of a business card.
