Default Creative ways to define a Virtual Assistant on business cards
For those that have the definition of "what is a va" on the back of there business cards, has anyone come up with new creative ways to define what a va is? I have come up with several creative definitions for my own but wondered what other ones everyone else has come up with that makes it more personal or easier for a potential client to understand.

I have a few varying ways of what I have on the back of my card. I just wondered if anyone else has come up with creative ways to explain what a va is on the back of there cards as well and if it has worked for them rather than the standard definition of it.

We are a team of VA's and rather than define who we are, I chose to list our Support Solutions on the back in bulleted format. Example below:
  • General Admin Duties
  • Data Entry
  • Bookkeeping
  • Paralegal
  • Real Estate
  • Video Marketing
  • Graphic Design
  • Social Media Management
  • Website Design/Maintenance
  • Phone Answering

I use QR codes on the back of my cards which lead to YouTube videos and to a static page which opens up and tells people about what I can do to provide solutions to their business problems.

In other words, I don't list what services I provide, rather the QR code leads them to a place which can give a more robust explanation.

I also feel that a business card should have some type of CTA or call to action. I want my card to get people to 'do something' such as sign up for my FB page or join my mailing list. I plan to redo my cards soon but I'll always use a QR code to get people to use that CTA.

I have a version of my business card with the QR code on the back as well.

If anyone is interested in creating their QR, I have a pretty good generator embedded on my site: http://www.vrsioffice.com/informatio...folinks.htm#qr.

Julie, I love how you did your card. I found a way to do a QR code for my cards as well. I never even thought about putting one on until I started reading through the forums. I believe it is a great help for those with smart phones and the way technology is now. I love the colors on your card very much. Is that the only card you use now?

Laura,

Thank you so much for the compliment on my business card. I designed it myself. Yes this is the only card I use now. I had them printed with VistaPrint. (Though in the beginning I just printed them myself.)

The color / image is the background I previous utilized on my website. This is the same color scheme I use for all my marketing materials. (One of these days I will probably change the image / background to match the new background design on my website. I'll most likely do this before I have to order more cards.)

Julie
