Default Brochure
Hello. I am making a brochure. I am wondering about the cover. Should I have a picture of someone working on a computer (for example). It wouldn't be my picture. Please help!!

The design of the brochure is totally your call and about your creativity. I would think if you really wanted to put a picture on the cover it should be something affiliated to the services being offered in the brochure. Why not put the company logo on the cover instead??

I agree, branding your business is really important. So put your logo in as many places as you can!

Think of the front page of your brochure as a magazine cover. You are trying to entice the reader to pick up the brochure, open it and read it. Thus, the outside cover of your brochure needs to be a cover picture that is inviting/interesting/enticing.

I think the logo and your contact info and name of business should be on the front and then a description of your services on the inside pages and anything else you might want to add to that.

I agree with the others, make the cover as interesting as you can. Also, I believe there is a thread where several members have posted their brochures. Maybe you can look at some of their designs for inspiration.

I agree with the previous posts....make your cover an 'attention grabber' and something one will want to pick up, open, and read. And hopefully contact you for work!

I think you should have your logo and contact information on the cover, along with any wording and/or images that will draw people in.

Good Luck!

I have my logo on the front of mine. I'm still tweaking it,but I think I'll keep that aspect.

I would go for both a logo and a business related image or drawing...as long as they visually go together well.

Hello to all. I just finished my tri-fold brochure. The front of the brochure has the business name, logo, commitment statement and tag line. The brochure is branded with the logo and theme colors. My tag line calls my potential clients to action as well as a call to action section on the inside flap. I put the address, phone, fax, email and website on the back, along with a smaller copy of my logo. As I am just starting to market my business I hope it works. Keeping fingers crossed.
