Are you my ideal client?

Posted 11-29-2010 at 01:37 AM by ClassicConcierge
Have you considered the profile of your ideal client? Maybe this is the time to consider who that might be.

I know there is more than one profile of the model client depending on what product is involved. Developing a clear picture of your perfect client will benefit both parties involved in the relationship
If you can determine who fits this profile, this can only help result in a mutually beneficial working partnership.
Questions to ask yourself; who do you want to get onboard with? Do you have a preference for the type of industry you like to work with, what are their products are and what market segment do they service?
Working on creating a profile of your preferred client will help you create a base of contacts that will contain prospects that will be quicker to qualify. Your referrals will have a clearer picture of whom to send your way and you will end up doing more of the type of work you love to do.
Do you prefer to communicate via email, with a catch up phone call once a week or a meeting weekly or bi-monthly? These should be shared clearly upfront, so there is no misunderstanding on your channels of communication.
The law of attraction will be put to work with a win/win situation for both parties. Think of your gifts, your skills, what projects excite you. Take this message further, move it into your website, painting a clear picture of who you would like to work with.
The goal: to be picking your clients, choosing your projects and enjoying the standards and activities that equate to quality of life for you.
Offering my services at Classic Exec, I have more than one ideal client profile. I have virtual clients located around the world and those that I work with in my immediate area.
My style of services as a VA – virtual assistant – will work well with a business owner who is excited about the concept of delegating tasks remotely, reworking some of their marketing, eager to look at new ways to get the message out, desiring to use social media to engage customers with tools like the popular LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook or branching out into many of the other social options.
I could be the right VA for you if you were looking for someone to bring onboard who would fit your flexible schedule, offer a professional level in communication and assure you of confidentiality for your projects.
I am passionate about word of mouth advertising, shouting out about good leads and sharing ideas and concepts that have a benefit to others. Word of mouth needs to be stirred and given a platform upon which to be voiced. Social media offers that platform. Are you asking your clients to share what they are excited about, or appreciate about your company?
What industry are you in? You might be a sales person, responsible for your own team, an online store needing a human touch, a consultant with a long list of clients to touch base with, a professional speaker with just too many avenues to address at once, or just a busy homemaker who would love a helping hand.
Do you have a huge box of business cards, love all those new contacts but cannot find the time to reach out to them. Bring in your VA to complete the task with focus. The beauty of using a VA on demand means that you do not have the high overheads of a full time office staff person.
We all have busy seasons in our business; maybe using the services of a virtual personal assistant at just the right time could help with the overload.
I look forward to our first call to explore the possibilities.
Virtually yours,

Carol Clegg
