Hi all,

Here's an article from Michael Martine, one of the bloggers I follow when I have a chance. His take is a little offbeat but bears considering.

Everything You've Been Told Is Wrong--The Truth about Marketing Your Freelance Business with a Blog

What he says makes a whole lot of sense. Often when I've read one blog or another--and I admit, sometimes this includes my own--I've had an inkling that something wasn't quite right for the intended readers, but I've never been able to quite put my finger on why. Martine nails the difference neatly!

For further reading, check out the follow-up to the above article + many more reader comments on Martine's own blog: Why Conventional Blogging Wisdom Sucks (and What to Do Instead).

I've never gotten into blogging because I couldn't see the point for me as a VA. This article certainly not only explains the benefits but also tells me HOW to benefit from blogging! Thanks for posting this.
