Thanks for the help everyone. I have attempted doing my first blog and posted it on my website. Comments would be welcome. I wanted to place a comment box there, but it kept showing up on all of the pages instead.

As Sabrina mentioned, if you're going to blog I'd suggest having it on your own website. It creates fresh content which is something the search engines like, so you really want it leading back to your own website. Additional blogs, like those here at VAF are great for increasing your online footprint though, so if you're ever ready to juggle more than one blog...

You can deactivate comments on all other pages except for your blog if you want. You should be able to do it from the "Quick Edit" option on each page of your website.

Thanks, Sabrina. I didn't even think of trying to see what "Quick Edit" would allow me to do.

Thanks again, Sabrina. I tried to catch all of them but it helps to have another pair of eyes scan the material because it can start to look the same after awhile

Currently my blog is on Wordpress as well but I also need to utiliza the VAF blog! I'm getting used to WP as I am very familier with Blogger. I am also managing several blogs on Wordpress so I'm endeavoring to learn as much as I can about it!
