Hi all,

Did anyone ever hear of Virtualassistants.com? Their membership fee is $59.99 for the year and then you have access to their RFPs. I read some bad reviews on another site (forgot the name of it) and just wondering about this one. Unless there are an awful lot of RFPs, it does seem like a hefty fee considering that is all you get for it. Unlike here at VAF, all you need are 50 posts! Love VAF

I was a member of that site for a year. It is legit and they do have a lot of RFP's, compared to some other sites I've seen. However, a lot of the jobs are telecommute and not strictly virtual. I do currently have a long-standing client that I received from that site. I didn't respond to an RFP, but they saw my profile and contacted me.

I didn't renew just because my business I rarely respond to RFP's anymore, most of my new business is from referrals.

I can't say if the $59 will be worth it for you, but it is a legit site and personally I have earned way more than $59 from the one client that I got from it.

I am a member, and there are quite a few listings, and there are always new ones popping up. You can set up a search so anything that is posted with your key words can be emailed to you.

I will be honest to say that I am a member of another VA forum and their premium membership is quite expensive. For the most part, many of the same features are available here on Virtual Assistant Forums at no cost. Just be mindful and perform research. Best Wishes!

Virtualassistants.com : I think I might check this out... I am on eLance right now and not to satisfied. It would save me money to switch to virtualassistants.com. I'll keep you posted!

I agree. Out of all the sites and forums I've seen, this one is that best that I have found. Everyone here is so active and the interaction is so positive. I've been quite the social one here in the past couple days... LOL. I've been a talking fool! This forum is not "cold" like many of the other ones I've participated in.

I agree with you. I feel the same way about a few other forums and did not renew my memberships. I am glad that you used the word "cold" ....sounds accurate to me. This really is the only forum I feel comfortable enough to actually want to get involved in instead of standing on the sidelines waiting for the water to warm up a little more before "jumping in"....
