I almost fell for this, I have an Adsense account and hadn't setup the payment details. Thanks to my PayPal Alert for alerting me, I was getting ready to pass on my account details!!!

Thanks for posting this! I also have adsense and saw this on my email. I actually did click on it and my antivirus let me know it was a spam site and didn't let me in. Thank goodness! That's great that Paypal alerted you. It looks so legit though doesn't it? I didn't even realize the email address I have set up for adsense wasn't the same email that I received that spam in.

I get emails similar to this that are supposedly from PayPal all the time. I have learned to just NEVER click on links from emails. If I'm not sure if an email is legit I just go directly to the website to check into it and if there is not a message on my account then I just ignore it and report the email as SPAM.

I get those stupid things all the time. You can check the path in Outlook so I generally do. Especially on something that sounds the least bit legit.

I thought I was very conscious of scams, I see how easy people can fall into these traps. I really connected with the email since it coincidentally referred to my situation.
