Default WP Theme help?
Can someone help/advise? I don't know the "techy" term so its hard for me to narrow my search for this online and hope someone here can help me with...I'm looking for a WP theme that shows a basic page when you go to the url and states "click here to enter site" and then you will be able to proceed into the site. I've seen various sites like this bf but I neglected to take a mental note of the theme description...does anyone have any input as to the name of this type of theme? or where I can find one?

Well, I know from my experience the way this is often done is by changing the index.html file (which would essentially be a static page) and once someone clicks on the link to enter the site it would then go to the WordPress site that has been installed.

Another way you could do this is depending on the theme you choose you could simply create an "Enter Site Here" page that is the default page someone comes to when they go to your domain. Then when they click on "Enter Site Here" it would take them to the rest of the site. If you decided to do it this way, you'd want to make sure that you a page that is a single column. I use a theme called Headway that would make this set up possible, so that might be one you want to look into.

Renee, I'm not able to purchase the Headway theme right now, can you explain how I would create this through a static page? I know how to redirect my visitor to another page instead of the blog page as my homepage under the Settings (Reading ) tab of my admin panel...The theme I'm working with presently in Weaver II and I believe that it might havve this capability..so I would go into the index.html and edit? I believe weaver won't let me edit its code in this manner?
