I like your logo, name, and tagline just fine...the logo especially. however I thought the geometric shapes across the webpage were a bit distracting. My 2 cents.

I agree that the background makes it hard to read your information. Also, on your contact page you have a yahoo email address. You might want to rethink that have it at your url especially if you will be offering web design. I really liked your tag line

The bold color on the edge kept fighting for visual dominance - distracting me from getting to know you through your written content. I made the suggested changes. Please let me know how it looks now. As for the email address and url until I start bringing in money I can't really by a domain name with email address. Once everything is set I will get the word out that I am looking for business.

I like the look much better now! Very nice. I agree with Karen about letting us know how it goes, I am also interested in following VAs who are working with churches and Christian organizastions, so keep us posted.

Please delete your yahoo email from underneath your great tag line as it really deminishes the great impression. Try to get another email service provider as Yahoo screams unprofessional.

I also would include a nice, smiley passphoto and some more details about yourself. You could put that on top of "our promise". The promises don't need underlining as it's too confusing. I know that you want to express your sincerity, but don't go over the top as it looks messy. The bullet points run over even on my large screen, so try to tidy the paragraphs up for an excellent first impression on the "our promise page".

But otherwise I'm sure you are onto something really good! Superb start into your VA practice.

Hi,

Firstly, I agree with the above, no gmail, hotmail, or yahoo email addresses. These make you look unestablished and unprofessional.

Secondly, well done, great job ! You should be proud. Just a few comments though:
1. On your 'Promises' page you have sections within paragraphs that are both bold and underlined. Underline on a website usually means hyperlinks and that is what visitors usually look for when they see underlining, so if your underlined text doesn't link this may send alarm bells to a prospective web design client as they may think your hyperlinks aren't working. Personally I would remove the underline and just leave them in bold text. This also makes the format consistent with the previous page.
2. I noticed that your hourly rate is lower than your retainer 'hourly' rate except in the case of 40 hour retainers. Is this deliberate to discourage clients to look at retainers? If you are offering retainers I would suggest keeping your pricing the same or swapping the rates around (so 'hourly rate' $30, and 'retainer 10 x $25) unless of course you have your own reasons for this .
3. On your 'Contact Us' page, the sentence underneath your email address doesn't read right to me. Might just be me though! After all, it is after 10pm local time and I've been going since 5.30am.....this could definitely be me!

Thank you one and all for pointing out what I need to correct. I will do that as soon as I can.

As soon as I get money coming in then I will purchase a domain url with email accounts.

The reason for no picture and no personal info is due to an issue with someone sending death threats to my husband. For right now I don't want to let out too much information. The person is also a hacker and has taken down my husband's business website mutilple times.

It is so nice to have a place where we can help each other. Learning from others that have been down the road is a valuable resource.

I made the suggested corrections. Please take another look to make sure I didn't overlook anything.

Remember as for the personal info there is a reason at this time for it not being there. Plus once I get the money I will get a proper email address.

You have gotten great suggestion and kudos for implementing them.

If you haven't checked out the SEO section for info on making your website search engine friendly, do so asap. Update your pages titles, add more keywords, etc.
