Default Whatcha think
Just want some opinions from more experienced people out there to see how I'm doing so far.

It's still in its infancy and I'll be swapping the blogspot URL for a dedicated one in the real near future, but wanted to know if I'm on the right track.

Thanks.

I think this is a good start. I love the blue and simple style of your site.
And it will al grow while working on it.... it is never done

Keep up the good work!

Hello Marty,

You are doing a good job developing your site. I really like your logo and how you are planning to build around it. It is a good concept.

One thing, though, you may want to try running your numbers through this rate calculator. And remember that many of your working hours will be "non-billable" hours. I remember this talked about in Cindy Bruce's Interview here @ VAF.

Ok, I have to start off with how much I love the introduction of your page!!! It's a great way for people to figure out how your services can change their schedule and make them more efficient!! I absolutely love that! Great way to pull in an author! I like the simplicity as well. I think the key would be keeping the site easy to navigate and it is. I think it is a good start and I like your logo!

I agree with Shandon, the two examples are a great way to do the thinking for your potential clients so they can clearly picture the advantages of working with you.

I really like your site and what it has to say. As web sites are always a work in progress it will definitely grow what you want it to be.

My own personal opinion is that you are charging way too low for your packages. It only works out to be $10.00 or $15.00 an hour. You are worth much more than that.

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the site

Thanks also for the tips on pricing. The rate calculator was a handy little link I didn't know about.

It's definitely a good start. Will you be adding an About page later on? Most people like to read a bit about you before contacting you.

I agree with others about the pricing though. Working at those rates really won't give you a living wage when you factor in taxes and other overhead.
