Whether you are the manager of a department of a medium – or large-sized corporation – or the Managing Director of a small business – and you are spending a vast amount of time on doing the Administration of your business, look no further – I am here to help.
If you are not a manager (i.e. a sole trader) then I can also assist you by taking care of your basic Administration tasks.
I offer both one-off and contractual services, depending on either how long the job is or whether you need me for a fixed time per week or month.

About
The Company
I created Office Butterfly in Autumn 2007, after noticing a gap in the local market where I felt I was unable to offer my skills to employers in the afternoons, as I also presently work part-time in the mornings. After an intensive investigation, I realised that I could work freelance – that way I was able to offer my skills as well as working at a time to suit me. Even though the company is based in Tonbridge, Kent, England, working virtually means that I am able to work with companies from the local area as well as from all around the world.
The Creator
I have had around 5 years experience in working in the Administration and Secretarial field; and I now feel that I can use all of my knowledge that I have gathered from over the years into setting up and running her own Virtual Administration business.
My work experience includes working with a large national Health organization, as well as a national fencing company, and a country club, so I am very flexible and can easily adapt to your company’s needs and ethos.
I have a keen interest in working with new people, and you can find me to be efficient, reliable and trustworthy from the first point of contact to the final product. I am able to take on new challenges enthusiastically, and I also like to use my initiative. The only flaw that you could find in me is that I have to produce my work to a very high standard and I thrive to meet my own personal demand.
I hold numerous qualifications, including typing diplomas as well as Administration, ICT and Business Studies. I have a wealth of experience in such tasks as copy typing, document presentation and audio typing. I am also proficient in using all the major Microsoft programs, and I am also currently learning how to use SAGE bookkeeping.
I am very much looking forward to grow on my experiences that I have already gained as well as being able to launch the company on a professional level and building on the foundations of the company.

Rates
The rates for the services offered starts at just £11.50 (IRL: €16.50) a hour, increasing in 15 minute incrementals. VAT is not payable. Please note that Irish prices are given as a guide only; all payments must be received in UK Sterling. Methods of payment accepted include cheques and BACS, and must be paid within 14 days from date of invoice.
A retainer service is also available; please e-mail me on info @ officebutterfly.com (without the spaces) for more information. Payment is due twice monthly; and we do require a 50% deposit before we can begin any work.
Terms & Conditions
You will be required to sign our Terms and Conditions (incorporated into our Booking Form) before we are able to start on your assignment. An outline of our Terms & Conditions is available on request.

FAQ page- 1. What is a Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant is a self-employed, freelance worker who takes on numerous administration tasks for clients from my home office in Kent, England.
- 2. I would like to find out some more information from you. How do I do this?

- 3. I would like you to take me on! What documents do I need to sign before commencement of work?
For work to commence, you will need to sign our contract, which will include the booking form, confidentiality agreement, booking agreement and information on payment. I will send you the contract in the post, which you will need to sign and send back to me before work can commence. If you would like a copy for your records, I can happily either send a copy of the signed contract by e-mail or post.
- 4. So where do you work? Do we have face-to-face meetings? How do I communicate with you?
I work from my home office. Unfortunately, I am unable to host client meetings at my home office due to insurance reasons; and I tend not to have meetings with clients, however, if needs be, we can arrange to have a meeting at a mutual place, for example a coffee shop. Communication is normally by e-mail; however, we can also communicate by telephone, but this method is reserved for emergency calls only.
- 5. What is your rate of pay? How long does it take to complete a task?
My rate of pay starts from £11.50 per hour, rising in 15 minute incrementals. The time it takes to complete a task depends on the individual project taken, and I will always endeavour to meet your personal requirements and deadlines for work completion.
- 6. What times do you operate? Are you closed at certain times of the year?
- At present, my current opening times are from 2.30pm to 6.30pm (GMT/BST) Monday to Friday; however I am very flexible and I will try my best to accommodate your needs and/or services outside of normal working hours. With regards to closure; Office Butterfly is always closed on Christmas Day, 26th December and New Year’s Day.
