Re: Website Review Please!
Hi John,
I'd suggest spending more time on the text and images - fleshing out the site a bit more. Your content is very thin and doesn't provide much in the way of solid information - I don't have a clear sense of your experience, skills or service offerings.
Things like 'customer service' are quite vague and oftentimes the potential client likes to see a much more detailed menu of services (it helps them 'imagine' how they would utilize your company).
You state that you bill only for time on task but that you bill in 30 minute 'blocks' - so if my task only takes you 15 minutes you're going to bill me for 30? (That doesn't equate to 'time on task' in my mind...) I'd suggest switching to 15 minute increments, but that's my own business policy and is again, just a suggestion.
You offer a free one hour phone consultation but I'm not clear on what to expect when I call you? You're offering an hour of your time *and* asking the client to give up an hour of their own time - it might be wise to spend some time writing up a bit about what the phone consult would entail and why it's to the client's advantage to call you.
Also, not sure why but when I click the 'Links' page the frame jumps all the way to the left (I'm on IE6 and 7) - you might want to check that out. And on that page your header is to the left with links to the right where I would guess you meant to have the header centered with links below?
