Hello, I have been working on my website, still have some things to add, such as newsletter sign up, some offers to help get new clients, some articles to help get potential clients to the site, etc.

I was wondering if a fresh set of eyes could take a quick look and let me know if I am on the right track. I was thinking of putting a picture of myself on the front page (the first slider picture) the picture on there is a clipart from iclipart.com. Do you think I should keep it as is or put my picture there?

I am going to start marketing to attorneys since that is where my experience lies.

Oh, I am just using my own name Trish Holfelder, Virtual Assistant as the business name so I think that TrishH.com should be okay for the domain name.

Hi Trish, I love the layout of your website. My suggestion would be to put a picture of yourself on a About Us page if you have one. If not, putting one on the front page works too.

Building your own website is tough work (as I am finding out!) I think you have done a great job so far

I was thinking an about us page would be better as well. Do you think the clip art with the lady I have on there is okay or should I change it? I definitely will add an about me page with a photo (I have to get a nice one taken though...hehehe)

thanks for commenting on the layout as I was wondering if it would be helpful to have the sliding tabs or a distraction. I really like the company that did that wordpress theme. they have a lot of good themes.

My opinion is that the picture on the front page portrays that you're a multi-tasker, which I think is a great way to bring people into looking at your website and your services further.

I have an "About Us" webpage on my site and really like it. I plan on getting a picture of myself done up prior to the launch of my business. Maybe a professional portrait. I think its great for potential clients to be able to see what you look like if you are not meeting them in person.

What a refreshing site! I like the way it provided lots of information without looking too cluttered. That Wordpress theme is nice. I didn't mind the sliding bar and loved the unique denim stitching at the top. I use my last name as my url so your trishH should work out just fine.
If I was your client I like the ability to login and see my projects.
