Hi guys,

I've been working on my website and I think I have it finished but I would rather a few of you take a look and give me some feedback before I officially announce it. Would any of you be willing to do that for me? You can pm me with your feedback if you like. My webpage is at www.esupportbusinesssolutions.com

Thanks in advance!

Sandy

I like it. I didn't proof read it word for word but I noticed on the contact page that your info@ address doesn't fit. It is showing it on two lines on my computer anyway.

Good luck!

Hi Sandy,

I just did a quick look and have a suggestion. You might consider a way to use the "above the fold" area on your home page differently. I didn't realize at first that there was any information on the home page because of the picture/photo there.

You could still use the image, but maybe inline with the text (the text could wrap around it). Or not use the image at all and have a nice logo instead at the top of your site.

Just my 2-cents.

When I go on your site it appears that the info / images disappear after a few seconds on three of your pages (About Us, Services Available, and Q&A). All I can see is the header.

Also, on your contact page the email address runs into a second line and covers part of your telephone number.

Best Wishes,
Julie

I think it's great overall. I have the same problem on mine with the e-mail address on the contact page. For me, the last "m" wraps down to the next line underneath and partially covers up the first digit in your area code. I personally don't like "new age," but that's just a personal preference.

What I've found helpful is, if you can, look at your website with different screen resolutions and different browsers (IE, Firefox, etc.). It can give you an idea of what it will look like to others using different setups. I also ask a friend to check my site out since she uses Netscape, and pull it up on my husband's computer because he has one of those wide monitors. I know it's not possible to have a site set up that looks great in every situation, but checking it out a few different ways can help.

Your site is looking good!

Haven't had a chance to look at your site yet, but I thought I would post this handy tip: http://browsershots.org/

Use this to check how your website looks in different browsers. Very helpful!

Thanks so much guys. Also, does anyone know of any good logo software that would help me in creating my logo?

I don't know of any good software, but you may try looking for a budding VA who would be willing to create one in exchange for a testimonial

Hi Sandy,

I'm only a student of the "nuts and bolts" of websites but I can give my 2 cents on the content. I liked the Q&A section. People have all of those questions so I think it's smart to answer them before they're asked. Otherwise, you may not hear from them!

I'm using Firefox as the browser. Nothing disappeared while I was looking around. I did see the "m" on the next line on the contact page for the email address. I didn't check for typos; just gave a quick look.

Thanks to Emma for sharing the browsershots.org. Can't wait to check that out!

Good luck moving forward Sandy. Your site looks nice!

Take care,
