Re: Web site Reviews
Hi Jo-Carole,
Good job on building your website. It can be quite a task, but it's so important!
Like Stacey said, the first thing I noticed was the amount of text. That's a lot to read. Your writing style is nice and easy to read, but I did notice that you switch back and forth between "we" and "us" and "I" and "me". Are there more than one of you at Shore Office Services? It's a little confusing.
Also--and this is somewhat of a personal preference--your font choice, size, and color combine to make the text tiring to read. I would suggest 12 point black text in Arial, Verdana, or Times New Roman for readability. Make your headings blue if you like, or in a fancy font. And you should probably make your headings consistent. On your home page, for example, you have headings in two different fonts and two different colors.
You might also want to take a look at where you're duplicating information. For example, you have a Rates page and a Terms page, and they say essentially the same thing. You could also probably condense your FAQs, What is a VA, How it Works, and Newbie Guide into one page. Otherwise your link structure looks good.
Overall I'd say you have a good looking site. Thanks for letting me ramble on a bit about it!
