I wondered if someone would mind taking a look at the first draft of my new business web site please? I designed and created it myself but don't have any web design or marketing experience, so would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

Very, very nice website.. Your site is very crisp and clean! It is professionally formatted and very neat.

I like your colors, the professionalism and flow of the site.

I do believe I saw one typo in the world "enquiry" I believe it should be "inquiry".. I was also wondering when I click on the contact form it denoted a area code prefix of (902). What if there is a client wanting your assistance outside of this area code? Or are you only detailing to customers within that area?


Other than those areas listed above, I commend you, you did an excellent job for someone who has stated they have never created a website or has graphic ability.

Very clean site! The blue wavy graphics are very eye appealing.

On the Services - Procedures page - the text at the bottom is in a larger font, not sure whether that is intended or not.

On the Services - Pricing page - the text at the bottom (in Mozilla Firefox browser) runs on top of the copyright graphic.

On the Home page, the blue graphic running down the right hand side seems skewed in alignment - it cuts off about a 3rd of the way down, and then a different unmatching segment starts again after the cut-off.

I think the enquiry/inquiry debate is a British thing. I'm from the UK but based in Canada and we're used to saying enquiry rather than inquiry..an inquiry being like a court inquiry.

I have removed the code 902, although it could be overwritten on the form. From your comments, I now realise it might make people think I only deal with customers with that area code. Thank you.

I will take a look at my site and see if I can rejig the graphics. I think I'm having a few browser compatability probs. I thought I'd solved them the other day by putting in tables but something still obviously isn't right. Thanks Crystal for letting me know.

Your content is straight and neat. That's a good thing. I did not read word-for-word so pay attention to the previous posts and these extremely wonderful VA Forum members.

You used your white space, and have some great graphics. Suggestions:

Explain "Ad-hoc"
The nav. buttons at the top are a tad bit "old skool"
Might add a few more graphics or photos.

I wouldn't change anything else.

Now you can tell me to mind my own biz, LOL

Great site, but I'd love to see the navigation buttons reflect the feel of the site more. I am not sure what direction to point you, perhaps use javascript instead of graphics, or a menu in CSS. Perhaps the graphics could look more like the wavy blue lines on your site.

Otherwise, I really like it, great job.
