Just changed the header and made a new logo.

Let me know what you think- I like it but can't decide if it works with the name.
(I need to do a little clean-up on the actual image so ignore the blur, please)

I never saw your old site (Im a newbie) but I like your new one - I think the testimonials page is great - hopefully I will have some to add to my site in the future. The only comment I have is when I went to your site - your icon had a "Vital Reading" line - like on a hospital monitor. If that was your old logo then I like that one better - it really ties in the "VITAL". Anyway just my opinion. Janine

After letting my son and husband see it, decided I don't like it as much as I originally did.

Changed it back to original with a few tweaks.

Afraid I'm a firm believer that if you can't grab someone's attention in the first 5 seconds then they'll move on.
Just my opinion of course but if I can be brutally honest I probably wouldn't have gotten past your first page once I saw the "Make Money on the Internet" box. Maybe that should go further down on the page and the "Find me on the Web" part at the top. There's no brief explanation of how I would make money and I would instantly disregard this.
And to be even more brutally honest I'm not a big fan of the purple/green colors. Looks kind of 80's to me. Sorry.

Christina, seems like I'm coming into this a bit late - you changed the design and then changed it back before I checked it out, LOL - have I ever been there before too!

I've always liked your site - I like the colors you use and the font style and sizes you've chosen. Overall it's nice and crisp - I probably wouldn't have noticed the 'Make money' box had Janine not pointed it out but now I'm wondering, is there another way to word that? I think it's an excellent idea to provide a freebie - just not sure the way that one is offered lends itself as well to your professionalism as I'm sure you've intended.

One other quick item - I love your new services for authors; have you tried having that menu link read 'for authors' or 'author services' and maybe moving it inside the menu, perhaps after 'Services'?

The purple and green are part of my branding for the last 3 years so that won't ever change. Which is excatly what I should have decided with the logo

Thanks for the authors navigation idea, I knew it was in a bad spot but hadn't gotten around to addressing it.

As for the e-book, I change the book offered quite often so the "make money" one will be removed soon. I do think I need to make the sign-up box stand out a bit more though- I'll have to work on that.

I think the change was because I've been looking at the same header for so long and felt I needed a change. After I did it though, I realized it's worked for over 3 years now so why mess with it.

Maybe I should just rearrange my living room instead. LOL

I love your site! In fact, I saw your banner on the top of the forum several times, and it caught my attention right away. I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking, "wow that's a great logo!!" So, I'm definitely a fan of your design!

The site is great. Just one minor nit-pick from me. "Not everyone needs the same kind of work or the same amount of hours," should be "number of hours."

I know: picky, picky! Just one of my particular pet-peeves! lol

Yes!! To Marie's comment! I absolutely love your small logo advert that you have at the top of this site. Maybe because it's Purple on White and not White on Purple that I prefer.
But I agree with you that if it's worked for 3 years then it must be working for you.
