Default Is this too much?
Hello Everyone,

I've recently started my VA business but I also have a property management business. My tax consultant told me it would be best to have everything under one umbrella so I created a parent company: CVisions Professional Services. Here is the link to my website, please tell me what you think.

I think the site is very nicely crafted. The only 'thing' is that having everything on one site, from a potential client's perspective may be confusing. If I was a client looking for a VA, I might think that she doesn't have time for my work because she's too busy with property management and cleaning.

I think the VA site should be separate from your other businesses. It's OK to have under one umbrella by name but I think the actual site itself should show a target market separate from the target market for the cleaning and property management business. Better for SEO too.

Congratulations on creating your website. What an awesome feeling. I only looked at the VA part of it and I have to agree with Janine that it should be a separate site.

Following are the few things I noticed

I find the fonts are not always equal there seem to be spaces where there should not be. I would suggest using a different font or something.

Nothing comes up on request quote or contact pages

Spelling errors on Who is VVOS - Medical Malpracticeand Real Estae

And I know you have worked very hard on your logo and it is fantastic (I had created my logo and loved it but people did not get it so I changed it to my current one) but I have to admit that I thought you were an eye vision company.

Again right on for creating your website, and a website is always a work in progress.

I Agree. I think your site is really nice, but I would make separate sites. It is great to see you are very active! and an umbrella site would be good to have, but link it to the individual sites with own domain (?). This way you umbrella site can be found but also the individual sites

Good luck with everything!

It is too much for one site. I agree with others that there should be separate sites with their own domains. Also, in terms of SEO and getting found by the search engines, your site unfortunately is not going to do well because of the way it is set up.

The logo looks very professional but I also agree that the "eye" makes me think you're a vision/eye glass business.

I also find the font on some of the pages to be way too small. For myself, I probably wouldn't end up spending too much time on a site with type that small.

I am with the others. If I came across your site I would not think of a VA service provider. Keeping in mind that the eye reads from left to right, your link to virtual assistance is last.

Also you have a typo in the Who section
Quote:
Personal Injury, Medical Malpracticeand Real Estae just to
and when you go to the request a quote and contact page, nothing comes up.

Congratulations on getting your site up. I agree with the others about keeping the businesses separate and VA showing last on the sight. You have some good advise given here. I believe your tax consultant was giving you tax advise and not marketing advise. I agree about the fonts, they are distracting (like stubbing your toe). I found another typo:
secreterial should be secretarial. It is in several places. I looked at VA portion only.
Best wishes!
Mary

Thank everyone for their advice, the site is a work in progress and all of your thoughts are welcomed. I will be working with my web designer to make changes.

Nice job overall. Just a quick note about your paypal "pay bill" button - it doesn't seem to work. Here's the error text it displays:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com.

Just FYI! I like the website, but I do agree with everyone about needing separate domains. They're all great concepts, but just need their own space.
