Default Testing new look for VA site
I'm redesigning my VA site (yes, again) and I've been looking at it so long I don't have perspective anymore. I'm hoping you each could take a peek and let me know what you think.

Don't click any of the links in the content because they will just lead you to the current site. Use the navigation tabs to see each page.

Link to test site: Test

TIA,
Christina

Hi Christina,

I just took a quick look at both your current site and your test site. I like what you have done so far with the new one, especially the placement of the navigation menu and the sliding page mechanism. However, the content on your current site seems to grab my eye a bit more. I am not sure if it is the text size or what.

Overall though, I really like what you have done! Nice job Christina.

Looks good Christina. I really like the page slide feature. I also like the clean look of it as well. Maybe I'll have to hire you to help me with some changes I want to make to my site!

I love the slide and text -- slide is different and with the text it's easy reading.

Great job as always.

I have to agree, I love the "slide," it gives it a more modern, innovative feel.

Seconding the comments about the "slide" -- I like how it never re-loads the whole page. It feels good! And I think it was a good decision to keep the body text on a white background. Easier to read that way.

I did notice that the text felt a little small; I can read it just fine, but I think that folks with worse eyesight may find a larger font a little more comfortable to read. Perhaps someone else can share their perspective on it, too, so you get more than one opinion.

But overall, very nice job! I'm bookmarking it for inspiration as I create my own website here soon.
