Hi Tiffany,

I think you did a great job. You seem to have all pertinent information listed as well as a photo of you. (nice touch

My 2 cents: your site needs proper title tags so please review the SEO section of the forums to learn about that

I'm not sure a professional resume is the right thing to put on your site since you're a business owner looking for clients and not a prospective employee looking for an employer. If you feel the need to make the resume available maybe you could call it a portfolio of experience (or whatever). My point is to make it less like a job application.

HTH!

Hi Tiffany- Congrats on launching your new business and website. The site is clean and easy to navigate, way to go!

I'm not sure if its my Internet connection (I've been having issues all day long), it seems like it takes forever for your Google analytics to load on the home page and other things on the other pages, like sitereport on the About page. Do check it out. Your website isn't optimized fully for the search engines in regards to your page titles. Do visit the SEO section for more info about using keywords and more.

I agree with Shari in regards to the resume. It does take a while to get comfortable in the "business owner" role, having a resume on ones website automatically gets a potential client thinking of you as an employee. Which you are not!

Perception is so important in our business, so we have to do everything within our power to show that we are ready for clients. Having things such as "under construction" (you don't have that!) or "coming soon" means that maybe we are not ready for clients and they move on to the next VA. If you don't already have the testimonials on hand for your site, don't mention it.

You need to set all the links on your website to open on a new page.

Your portfolio opens into your certifications, so people who have no knowledge of these credentials will think that you designed the logos.

I couldn't ready tell if you used the same font color for the questions in your FAQ page. The color after the calculator looks lighter.

Hope this helps.

Hi Tiffany,

Congrats on launching your site you have done a great job with the design. I like how you laid out the services page with the images, the bullets do not seem to be wrapping around the images correctly though.

The home page took awhile to load, not sure if its my connection or not but did notice that Agnes was having a similar problem as well.

I agree, you need to update your meta tags for SEO purposes. I also agree about the resume.

Overall the site looks great, nice and fresh, easy to navigate. Great Job.

Kim

Hmmm...every time I try to load your site, it stops mid-way, claims "error on page" and crashes my computer -- so unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to explore it very far.

One tiny thing, however: The text that says, "Whether its data entry..." should read, "Whether it's data entry" to make it grammatically correct.

Good luck on getting your site in tip top site; not being a web wizard myself, I know just how frustrating it can be to get everything pulled together and running perfectly!

My computer crashed as I wanted to look at your work portfolios. Are they too big for online purposes? Can you make the files smaller for easy loading?

Hi Tiffany,

I reviewed your site again and I have another suggestion. On your relevant experience pdf you list your Technical skills at the bottom of the page. I think it might be a good idea to list them on your site as well. My clients often tell me they look at my list of services to see which technical skills and programs I have experience with.

A prospect only has seconds to look at your site before they move on to the next one to find what they are looking for.

Just a thought.
