Hi Lynn!
Niche - Only one little section on the Services page do I see something that shows who you are targeting. There is SO much more competition these days so I definitely think you should claim a niche and market to that niche.
For example, if your target market are real estate professionals and your niche is real estate marketing support, then list services and benefits pertaining to that market. Add "Create "Just Listed" postcards and sending out to prospects, update MLS, create flyers, create newsletters, maintain real estate websites" etc. Do a little research to see what real estate professionals are searching on - what do they need help with? Then add those words and phrases to your site so you'll be found. LOTS of things you can do to optimkize for the search engines, but you can do that after you get the basics.
I recommend industry certifications, maybe CRESS from IVAA or Nat'l Assoc of Realtors "Real Estate Professional Assistant." Will add credibility and, especially with IVAA, you are searchable by that industry. There are also particular industry-specific programs that you could learn such as singlepropertysites.com (they train you for free when I went through it-not sure now).
I wouldn't worry about stock photos. I think it's great you have a great looking photo of yourself - that's all you really need.
I would add in the header/banner your target market. As a first time visitor, your site looks like 100 others, so you really need to make it clear what you do and who you want to work with.
IMHO your rates seem a little low, especially if you are doing marketing.
You need a way to capture visitors. Sign up with Aweber or other list manager and add a sign-up form above the fold. Offer a free report, something like "What every real etate professional needs to know about working with a VA" as an enticement for them to sign up to your list. You could start a monthly newsletter - just to keep your name in front of them.
Just some ideas. There's my $.03 (inflation ya know)
