Default Revamped Site - Feedback Appreciated
Hi all,

I've just finished a revamp of my website, including new logo design. My old site was quite clunky and boring looking so I've tried to bring some colour into this one and improve the layout etc.

Any and all feedback would be much appreciated. Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes finds all sorts of things that the owner may have missed

Regards

Hi Melissa, congratulations on the new site.
I love the colors, it's very crisp and has good energy.
The only real suggestions I'd make [beyond applying some SEO to your site overall, of course] would be to make more effective use of that space above the fold - on the home page in particular. You really want to grab people's attention and draw them in to want to read more about what you have to offer.

Instead of 'Welcome to our site' as the headline in the text area I'd put in a more action-oriented statement - a call to action, a reflection of your understanding of your clients' pain points - something that makes them want to know more.

I didn't get a chance to see your old site but I like the look of the new one!

Melissa,
I really like this new version of the site! The layout is crisp, clean and professional.

The only problem I had was that some of the text was missing in the "testimonial" box - whether it was the size of my computer screen, i don't know... but you could try moving the text up by one line so it all fits into the box.

Apart from that, you've done a great job! Well done!

Thanks so much for the feedback guys, it is much appreciated.

Not sure what the problem is with the testimonial box Julia, it looks fine on my screen, but maybe it's a browser or screen size thing, either way I'll change the font size to make sure it's viewable for everybody.

Thanks too for your feedback Tess. Yes, I do need to get into the SEO side of things. Time for some reading up on that area I think! I'll also have a think about your comments about a call to action statement etc and see what I can incorporate.

Thanks again everybody, and have a great week

I really like your color choices and love your logo! I would have to agree with Tess about putting a little more "meat" on your front page to really grab attention. Also, on the front page it says "Are your current administrative staff overloaded?" should be "Is your current..." and on the FAQ page where it says "No Paying for Non-Productive Time:" sounds a little weird ... maybe "Don't pay for Non-productive time..."
Otherwise it looks great!!

I think that your website looks really nice, Melissa. Your logo and the colors are so crisp and attention-grabbing!

A small thing I noticed that you may want to adjust, if you can, is the alignment of the gray "Subscribe here" title box on your Newsletter signup column. In my browser (Google Chrome) it doesn't quite line up with the white box beneath it, and so it looks like it is misplaced. I haven't tried it in other browsers, though, so check it out.

Also, on your "About Us" page, don't be afraid to put an nice border around your headshot. I think it will feel more anchored and purposeful, that way, and you should be proud - it's a lovely photo.

But like the others have said, it's a very attractive website. Well done!
