OK - After being made redundant on 24-November, I've really been trying to get myself organised to set up as a VA and think I'm just about ready to launch myself out on the hunt for clients!

Over the last few weeks, I've mainly been working on the my website (the content, learning how to use WordPress)... It's all a bit scary and exciting at the same time, but I think it's ready for the public to see it and any feedback would be amazing and appreciated like you can only imagine!!!

As noted on the bottom of the site, the WordPress theme is by intelligentVA and in conjunction with Sharp End Training, so if there's anything theme-related that's not right, please let me know too and I'll ping them to let them know...?

Website visitors are lazy. They like to quickly get the information they are looking for without having to do too much work. (reading, searching, etc.) Most visitors to a web page decide within seconds if they will stay or they will go. On your home page I would suggest restructuring it a bit to add a photograph that the visitor can relate to such as a busy person or stacks of paper. This will entice them to learn who you are or what you do. You may also considering limiting the information you provide on the home page so they are not thrown so much info all at once.

The text all seems to blend in together too much. Maybe trying some different title fonts or font colors to mix and break it up a bit?

The background and logo colors you chose are easy on the eyes.
You have a great professional photograph.
I like the logo.. cute.

That's great - thank you! I'll have a look into a paragraph to relate to people a bit more and I can maybe move the "How can I help" bit to the FAQs to reduce the page-size.

The colours are part of a theme, so I'm not sure I can change them much at the minute, but I'm glad you like the logo. I think the only problem I've had so far is that people call me Amber instead of Tracey, which was my nickname at school because of my hair-colour, hence choosing it for the company, so it's OK!
