Just checked out your site there and noticed that the links About Us, Contact Us and Services don't actually link to anything?

You website seems pretty good so far from what i've seen. The only thing that I personally would change is the first paragraph - maybe make it a different colour or something to make it stand out a bit more. Other than that as i say it looks good. Good Job!

Ok Here are my suggestions.

Home Page:
-The skyline pic is a bit large & blurry and I don't think the other building pic is needed- overkill
-Maybe try to fit company name in the header section.
-The navigation menu in red and blue is very hard on the eyes. Make sure you are only using 2-3 complementing colors for the entire site.
-There are at least 3 different fonts being used, not counting company name. Pick 1, at most 2. Maybe one type for headings, another for content.

Blog:
-It would be a good idea to install Wordpress on your domain instead of using blogger, more professional looking.
-You want to continue your color scheme to the blog.
-If you decide to keep blogger, have the "blog" link open in a new window so visitors aren't completely leaving your company site.

About us, Contact us & Services:
-these link to nowhere

HoustonVA, for some reason when I click on your navigation buttons, I am getting an error message "Address Not Found".

Your first paragraph seems to get a little lost, so yes it would be nice to have it more visible but still in line with the rest of the text.

Speaking of your navigation buttons, perhaps another color that meshes with your color scheme, but softer to make it easier to read.

Although the picture is breathtaking, it appears to overpower the page. I would like to see the name of your business more prominent instead.

HOME PAGE:
-I agree with the other, the picture is way to big on the home page and distracting
-I am finding that everything seems oversized but that is just my personal preference
-Your heading - What is a Virtual Assistant and how can you help me ~should it not be how can I help you?

ABOUT US
-The navigation bar is very hard to read with the color scheme
-You may want to consider adding white space around the copy for easier read

CONTACT US
-Link did not work

SERVICES
-Link did not work

BLOG
-Maybe open in separate window or tab

The content is good you just need to tweak the design to make it easier on the eyes so that everyone can read what wonderful copy you have.

I guess the others have said it all, I will wait for the site changes, then try it again. Is the blog page really needed? Good content.

I think it is great that you are moving ahead with a web page, here are my observations.

Your graphic on the home page is too big, not only did I have to scroll down I had to scroll across too to see your page.
I found that your menu changed throughout the site which can be confusing to users, also no contact link on home page.

Textured text on texture background just does not work. Change one or the other and see what works for you.

Some of your information is invisible because the "wrappper" and text is not aligned. Notice how your copyright is way to the left, same with your e-mail and phone number.

Like Lee I thought everything was too big, text, pictures but you have the hardest part completed, the content. In my experience you'll be adjusting and updating your web pages constantly, not just the blog.

I'll look forward to your next update.
