Hi Scotty,
First - its great to have the site up! I am still tweaking mine...
Second - I agree that using the hands/keyboard pic - since it is not your "logo" maybe shouldnt be on each page.
Third - I do think you should get a logo - so you can use it on every page and all your literature - to brand yourself. I think I used logomaker.com for mine - this has samples and you can customize their samples. Once you finalize your logo then you can buy it and download templates.
Fourth-Im not sure you need your pics - unless you are selling your "personal" service. Of course I shy away from my pic so its just my preference.
Fifth-I do think you need more substance - it does seem like all the pages are pretty much the same content. Don't panic - you have a great base - now you just have to expand on it.

I designed the website myself, and I do not claim to be a professional web page designer. I plan to hire a pro after we get more established and start to actually bring some money in from the business. However I think it's functional enough for a start.

You are the second person who said that I should not have the keyboard pic on each page. Well I agree, but for now, without that pic, the site would look completely empty and plain.

About the logo, I will check out that site you mention. I know we need a better logo.

About the pics. Based on my research and experience in business, sites that provide a pic get 30% more jobs than those that do not. What is your opinion on our pics btw?
Should I take my pic out completely? lol.

Really I only want to post my wife's pic, but since I will be the one answering the phone 90% of the time, I thought it be necessary to go for the "wife and husband" business. I will be doing 90% of the phone answering, advertising, bidding etc.

I always post my wifes pic on the job bidding sites though. She is so much prettier than me.

I got someone working on the content for me (Cindy). So that will help the site once I get that info back in.

Hey Scotty. Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. On the pics....I think if you are using pics then it definitely should be BOTH of you - since your clients will be dealing with both of you.......my personal feeling - for me - is that I dont like posting my pic anywhere - I will probably get over it but for now my pic is not posted. (My husband also wont give our school permission to post our kids pics so that may be why I am the way I am). Anyway, if you are selling "Personal Service" then your pics are a great idea....
