Re: Opinions please!
Hello,
Just a couple of suggestions that come to mind when viewing your site.
1.) Are you one or many? You fluctuate between "I" and "We". If there are more employees beside yourself let them shine as well. If it's just you, don't be afraid to let people know up front.
2.) You have a sidebar that is unused. You may want to remove it and use all of the space for text.
3.) There's a lot of information about VA's and VA programs. While it is important to list your credentials and experience, you may not want to hint to potential clients that there are spots they can pick up a different VA. Make sure the logo means something to the client, not just an affiliation.
4.) Portfolio? If you indicate that design is a service you are offering you need to show that to the potential client. If you don't have a sample, make one up! Many people choose design services based on a certain look and feel.
5.) Website services. "Editing, adding or updating content on websites, assisting with design" If this is a service you offer, what programs are you familiar with. Can you edit javascript, or raw html? Do you use a program or are you familiar with scripting languages? Be careful what you say here. If you're proficient in a certain program or programming language make sure clients know that up front.
I hope that helps a little bit, you have a great start and I look forward to learning about your VA experiences.
:-) Emma
