Hi Fiona,

I know it must feel great to have given "birth" and I think your did a great job. You have captured most things you should in a website. I only have two little comments/suggestions.

Firstly you may want to use an "e-mail encoder". Do a search for this on VAF and run the program. It will keep your e-mail address hidden, and protected from spam.

Secondly you should be careful where you are getting your graphics from, and make sure you optimize them for the web so they load quickly and are not look distorted. A keen eye can spot the distortion right away.

That's all I have.

Cheers!!

Cool. thanks for that. Yes I am aware of the images and will probably have to go back and look for larger images I can shrink down.

Also...a question.... used the email encoder but only some of the pages saved it as the full encoded html./ Other pages saved half the encoding then ded fiona@sosva.com.au at the end. I have redone this many times and am not sure how to get rid of it.

If you know ot know someone who know, help would e appreciated.

Thanks

Fiona

Wow, Fiona - I didn't do an in-depth look at your content etc. but wanted to say that at first glance I very much like the overall look of your website. I really like your logo and tagline - nice choices.

The colors are great, the animation in your header is minimal and tasteful. The navigation is obvious and easy.

Good job! And congrats on your first-ever website - all-in-all really not too shabby
Excellent to see someone take the reigns and make something outside the realm of freebie websites.

Looking forward to seeing it after any fine-tuning.

I will put in my usual pitch for more attention to SEO - there are so many ways you can integrate good SEO into your site that can only benefit your business/traffic. Maybe next on your list of things to learn?

I absolutely love your header! Did you create that yourself?

Thanks everyone.

The banner is from the logonerds.com. Part of my logo package.

Your company name & tagline rock! The look of your site is great! The banner is very striking. And there are just the right number of "twinkles" to not distract, but to tie in nicely with the grey starry background. Great look!

On your Why a VA? page, a little space between the numbered items would make it much easier to read.

Very, very nice Fiona!

I'd say it a well-done site, easy to navigate and easy to read.

The only 'thing' that stuck out at me was that the tag line seemed blurry and not as clear as the rest of the logo.

How did you make the twinkles? I didn't see this on your previous post.
