Default Okay here it is VA family...Please help critique my website...
Hello VA Family

I have finally completed my website, my VA business will officially launch on June 1st.

Let me know what you think and any improvements I should make. (I will be making updates to my Linked In & Twitter Face Pages soon). This was my first shot at creating my own site. In some areas I was limited in creating data based upon the template the company supplied, but I worked with what I had, overall I think it is ok for my first time and a new business emerging, but I want to hear from you!

So let me know.. Thanks

Overall I like the site and really like your logo!

The music is a bit annoying, and I had to turn it off at each page I went through navigating through the site, as it would restart.

On the Payment options page - you may want to Hyperlink the Bank of America link into a text for, rather than displaying the entire url.

Good luck with your launch, it's getting close!

Hey Family,
When you critique the website ignore the music playing, I was experimenting with that option and later found out it is NOT a good option to post on a website.. I have tried to remove it several times, but I have to call the website host for help in removing it..

Please continue to critique the other areas of the site.
Thanks

Hi Capricia!

Site is beautiful...no time to elaborate this minute, but wanted to point out a couple of errors....see bold below:

Business Professional & Multicultural Sensitivity
Our organization takes great consideration in awareness of diversity with our clients. We esteem to a high level of demonstrating sensitivity, confidentiality and awareness to individuals; their customs and cultures as well as sensitivebusiness information.

Flexibility and Adaptability
Our organization can effectively and resourcefully manage multiple assignments and task, while keeping the clients needs as our focal point.ll write more later!

P.S. Music issue seems to be fixed...I got no music.

Great work!! I like your colors and logo, just thought the Header had too much white space but balances the bold colors well. I like how you have softened the edges of your photo and how your business card pops out when you click it but I'd like to see a crisper picture when that happens. Overall Very Well done.

Best of luck on your launch.

Thanks Bernice.. I like the idea about the spacing.. I have made some minor adjustments to make it look a little better. I am working on the business card look, I do understand what you mean about making the card look a little clearer and crisper for visitors when they open it.

Your help is so much appreciate-it means a lot!!

Hi Capricia,
I really like the color combinations you chose for your site and the layout. I found the wording on the business card to be a bit too small to read. Do you feel your hourly rate of $15.00/hr is rather low?

Thanks so much Jean for your input...I am trying to work with that darn business card (lol).

I will definetly try to get it better..regarding the pay amount I toiled back and forth regarding the amount.. I looked at adminstrative positions in my area and they ranged from $15-$18 per hr.. so I thought for starting out as a VA $15 would be sufficient, with the idea that as I got more experience and business I would increase my rates by next year.

What do you suggest?? I have seen a lot of VA's around the $25 or more mark but they had special niches like web design, bookkeeping, etc..

I am still a bit trying to hoan in on my special niche-so I am a little unclear, I may need to rethink this amount before my offical launch next week!
