Ok, 8th time :)
Well after the suggestions I have done the changes. I mentioned this in the other thread (7th time) but have only received 1 response. I'd like to know what the people who saw it earlier think of the new colour and text.

I've had a look at your site and I like it. It's to-the-point and looks tidy (I mean not cluttered and I'm sure that's a good thing for a bookkeeper).
Also very much like the colours.

Okay, I've held back on replying to your request, but am now going to jump in with my thoughts. Please, please don't take anything I say as negative - my comments are meant in a sincere and helpful spirit.
So here goes:
- The first thing one sees is the color scheme. The color scheme is too "jarring" - not conducive to a relaxing atmosphere. Only my opinion.
- The site looks on the amateurish side and not professionally done. This might dissuade some from contacting you because it doesn't promote a professional look and feel.
- A nice logo and re-working of the images, or new images, would help.
- Some "tweaking" here and there would go a long way - I really like the simplicity of your site.

Oy, Kim...I so hope I didn't hurt your feelings by what I posted. We all had to start somewhere and our sites are always a work in progress (can't tell you how many times I have changed mine! And I'm thinking about a re-design ). Please don't let what I said discourage you in any way. You done good girl by getting a site up there!

Hey Jules.
No you didn't hurt my feelings.  Some things you mention I agree with, some I don't. But when I ask for an opinion that's what I expect.
Thank you for you advice, I really do consider all the advice that's given to me, I just chose which bits I want to follow  .
