Congrats on getting your site up and running!

One change I would make is the text color with the rollover on your links. The text color on rollover is not showing up when the green rollover color is active (think the text color must be white--maybe use a grey?).

Otherwise, more content would be nice, but I am sure that will come with time!

Hi Janet,

Just a few suggestions for your website. Firstly, I wasn't sure about the relevance of your pictures to the content of the site (maybe I missed something?). On the home page you seem to have a picture of Bill Gates. Maybe you could change that for something that indicates that you are Microsoft certified? And on your page entitled "Janet", perhaps a photo of yourself in your office?

Also, I would rename your "Janet" page to "About Janet".

One other thing, regarding your images. There does not appear to be any alt text for any of them. Ask your web designer about this. He should have done it as a matter of course. It's good for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), which should give your site more of a chance on Google, etc.

Other than that, I think the simplicity of your site makes it easy to understand and navigate. And I'm sure the rest will come with time. Well done!

Best regards,

Jason

Duh. I know why the text on the links disappear when you rollover them - the text is the same color as the rollover color. So, just changing the text or the rollover color will do the trick.

Hi Janet, I just viewed your sight. I would change Senior to to Experienced sounds better. I would also make the pictures smaller and add more about yourself, a privacy policy and how to pay.

Hi Janet

Great site, I think you're doing a great job! I think I would probably change the wording on the "Rates" section with the sentence that starts "You may want to pay xxx" because it sounds a little flexible. What if someone wanted to pay less? You could change it to "Hourly rates are xxx" or something that sounds a little bit more solid. You're doing great so far though.

Have a great one,
Holly

I only have one suggestion beyond what has already been suggested and have edited the text below:

"Before founding e-Business Online Support in 2009, Janet provided executive support as an administrative assistant for ITT Educational Institution. She managed the day-to-day administrative workflow for the Dean's Office in addition to providing excellent customer service to the public, students and staff.

While at ITT, Janet initiated and streamlined the accreditation record process which resulted in 99.9 percent accuracy and reduced time spent doing accreditation work by 60%. She also coordinated 12 graduations, scheduled facilities and catering, and ordered diplomas, awards and certificates."

I might also add some marketing language here to indicate you are ready and willing to take your can-do attitude and apply it to your customer's tasks, but can't think of any solid language at the moment that would transition from your ITT experience to why this is a good thing for your prospective clients.
