Tess,
Thank you very much for catching that. I had noticed earlier that I forgot to and ".html" to the rates and services link when I was setting it up. I thought I had fixed that. And I will fix the footer.

I tried the rates and services page just now. Maybe try hitting crtl + F5 to refresh the page? I tried my page on both Firefox (my primary) and IE and it looked fine for me. I wonder if anyone else sees what you see?

Thanks again,
Amy

For me, the footer issue is on nearly every page - at least the ones that are quite long...definitely not a cache issue b/c I've since discovered the same problem on other pages BUT I will bet the computer I'm on at the moment is a much older version of IE (still should be a fairly easy fix....)

I'll check it from my own computer when we get home (IE7 there) and post back.

Please do check it when you get home. I checked it on IE6 (that's what I have installed) and am not able to see what you can see. I had my husband check it this morning after everything was put together although he has the same version of browsers that I have. I will see if I can come up with a solution.

Hi Amy, I'm home now (and cleared my cache here just to be sure) and it's still like that....sorry to say I'm on IE7 on this computer.

I've uploaded a screenshot of the bottom of http://www.vatotalsolutions.net/amybray.html
so you can see what I'm seeing...

Thank you for updating me. That is so weird! I have had other people (from different places in the world) look at my site and no one has had any problems like that (both with Firefox and IE6 and IE7). I wonder why it would show up like that for you on several computers but not for anyone else? I can't see anything in the code that would make it do that.

That is odd...I don't have time to check on our other browers (Opera, Safari, etc.) as I'm out the door again just now, but you can see it's a similar problem on the 'Chelsea' page...let's see what everyone else sees in the coming week - anyone else on IE7 seeing this or is it just me??

Yes! Please let me know!! My husband and I have both looked over the code and can't find anything wrong. We will have a friend over next weekend who is a programmer so I can have him look at it, too. I really hope to have this fixed soon though since I want to start promoting my business more to draw in more clients.

Looks like you've resolved that issue - great job!

As I've been on your site more these past few days I couldn't help but notice all of your internal pages open in a new window...while I agree that this can make sense for certain things like a portfolio page, or of course linking to a destination other than your own site, a user will likely end up feeling a bit nuts with so many windows open after a visit to your site. Better to have all of your own site pages open in the same window - keep the user experience as smooth as possible.

Otherwise, great progress!

Wonderful. Thank you very much for the advice and letting me know that it works as it should now for the most part. =)

"Hello, my name is Amy Bray. I have more than seven years experience in areas of customer service, administrative assistant, data entry, word processing and spreadsheet management."
In this sentence, I would change administrative assistant, to administrative assistance. Then you are listing all 'services' or action words. I know grammatically this makes more sense, but I'm not sure what words to use to describe what I mean.
