Hello all,

OK, after months of screwing around with this, my website is up. And kudos to Darlene Victoria (dvictoria) and Tammi Metzler (write associate) for doing this for me! I won a site redesign and copywriting services through a chat they did here on the forum. Actually, another VA won it and did not claim her prize. So second drawing, I got it. Thanks so much to whoever didn't claim it! I really needed it. I had a domain, wordpress installed and had just purchased the Headway Theme. But didn't really know what to do with it all. These girls really rescued me. I know there are still things to do, like my rates table and my comparison chart colors need to match but all my links work and I look like a real business now. So thank you so much Tammi and Darlene!

Your site looks great! Your banner, with those blue rays coming off your logo, is really striking! I like your use of blue headings to break up your text. I also like that your changing photos on the Home page don't change quickly. It's not distracting at all.

Overall, it's very clean & appealing. You'll be getting customers in no time!

I loved the website, especially your logo header. Darlene and Tammi did a fantastic job with it. I'm supposing you had some help in it as well, so kudos to all three of you. I agree completely about the rotating photos in the sidebar. It was so gradual that it was kind of like, "Oh that's really nice," instead of something that drags your eyes away from the text. It looks wonderful! Congrats on a great website.

Your website looks awesome! Very nicely arranged and professional! The graphic on top is great too! I am not sure if this is standard, but would you also want to have a section that is "About Us" if people want to learn about your you & your company's background (unless it is there and I am not seeing it)?

Great job on your new site. The header is very eye-catching and the flow is nice.

Couple of suggestions; having your contact us link higher on the page works with one of the best pieces of advice I ever received - keep what's important above the fold - before you have to scroll.

Having an about us section or page - tell your visitors who you are in a way that is a clean and clear as the rest of your site.

Thanks for the comments! Funny, i had the Home page named About Us originally but changed it to Home. I am working with trying to do an About Us that gives a little bit of my personal background. My problem is I keep writing it, starting out professionally but next thing I know, I am 5 paragraphs into it and talking about galloping racehorses and selling boats. lol. Focus, Kathy, it is not an autobiography!

A question for you Kathy. Is your website done on Wordpress and if so, how big isyour SQL database attached?

I only ask I my potoential web host has limit to the database size. I need an indication as to whether the plan for my site will be under or over that limit.
