Smile My new Website...Feedback is appreciated:)
Hi All,

Before I send out an email blast introducing my new business to my colleagues, I'd appreciate some honest feedback on my website.

http://www.perfectingassistance.com

Is there a page that I should include as a virtual assistant? Information that I should remove? I'm especially concerned about my samples page...what are your thoughts.

I appreciate your time in advance.

Thanks

Nice site. Very informative. I like the PASS It On incentive. Good luck to you in the future.

Delady, I think you've done an excellent job on your website! The amount of info is a lot, and I wouldn't add to it, but I'm thinking it's not too much either, so don't take anything away! Your samples page is fine! Go ahead and tell everyone about it. It's definitely ready for prime time!

Hi Delady,

First, welcome to the forum!

Ok, I looked at your website and I thought the information you have is just the right amount. I like that you have a link for special offers. That is great!
I also like how you utilize the cost calculator on your FAQ page.

I saw the link for your samples pages on your site map. Do you plan on having a link on your navigation bar for your samples or is there a link to your samples page elsewhere on your site?

I think it is a good idea to use samples, just so that prospective clients get a feel for what you can do. The internet is a very visual experience, so providing samples is great. The way you have some of the images swapping from one view to another is a little distracting however. Can you perhaps do a front and back image side by side instead? Also, scrolling quickly through the page you can possibly miss the swap and only see one side and not the other.

You have done a very nice job....

Delady, I think you've presented your information in just the right amount and in a well-organized, well-articulated voice. Looks good

One suggestion - in terms of getting the search engines to come and index all of this great info as well as move your site up in the search returns (as much as is possible in such a competetive industry) take a look at our section on SEO (search engine optimization) - particularly the posts about 'image tags' and meta tags/keywords, and page titles.

Great job!

Hi Delady,

I think it looks great! Very clean and professional, and it provides great information about your services without too much "fluff" thrown in. Well done! It's definitely ready to be passed along to everyone you know.

Awesome feedback. Thanks All!

I hadn't listed the samples pages yet because I still felt a bit uneasy about it, it's listed now though. I plan to take your suggestion, Darlene, about the side-by-side format...that's hot, I like that!

Tess, I've been back and forth through this forum reading all I can about SEO and plan to implement some of those tips soon, I already added keywords to all of my pages!

But thanks all for the good feedback!

I think it looks great and very informative! What kind of things are you sending out in your free tips? How often? Are you going to manage that yourself or use one of the email list services? I know those can get expensive.

Thanks!

The tips may include a variety of things based around increasing the productivity of owning a business. They will be given monthly...and I was going to use something like iContact...however, I have been thinking of starting a blog on this topic...haven't had any experience with blogging yet, but I've been reading about it a lot.

Delady,

I think you did a great job with your website, our websites will also be in "working progress" as we'll always be tweaking them . I love to read about VAs when I visit their sites, have you thought about putting some info about yourself on your website? It helps in developing a connection with potential clients.
