Thanks to all who responded to my request to review my mock-up.

I was up late last night coding and recoding my new design and finally went live at about 1:30am est.

I just took a quick look at your new site. I think it looks great! I briefly read your home page copy. I really like how and what you say there.

Christina,
First of all, well done with the site & layout - I really like it!

However, I have a couple of "design hang-ups":-
* On your services page - a larger gap should be incorporated to separate each 'catergory'.
* On your Testimonials page, you have one " at the end of the last testimonial. I recommend that you:
a) remove it; or
b) add speech marks to every testimonal (at the start and at the end) - this is my preferred option

Other than that, a very well presented and laid-out site!! You should be proud!!

Oh and one other piece of advice - I don't really recommend working until 1AM to get a website online... just make sure you go to bed early tonight!!

I'm impressed at the generosity of your referral program - that's a HUGE percentage of 6 months worth of invoices...note that on your rates page it says something about 10% for referrals...is it one or the other or both? Also, maybe link to the $$$ page from that paragraph on the rates page...

Really smart use of your sidebar!

One other small thing, your page titles get cut off after 'Scotia'

I fixed both items you mentioned. Generally I don't stay up till 1am but I allow myself one night a month to stay up late to work on anything that is on my mind and I need compete quiet for. (2 1/2 yr old in the house and no daytime babysitter).

Tess,
Everyone thinks I'm crazy for offering that referral program.
I look at it like this; I wouldn't have that money coming in if the referrer hadn't bothered to mention me. Basically, I'm asking others to be my compensated sales force.

Oh, and I removed the "Scotia" part. It didn't look right to me anyway.

I think it looks really good. Nice and clean, not cluttered at all. I also thought it was a good idea that you had the promotional flyer on your referral special page. That's a great idea. The only thing I might recommend with that is to have it open into a separate window so that people would still have your website open underneath it and not just close the whole window when they are done with the flyer. Most people probably would just hit the back button but after spending the weekend working on my parent's computer and seeing just how un-computer saavy they are, I'm pretty sure they might be the type that would just close out and not know to hit the back button.
