Hi, Shellye. I think your website looks great and I really like your logo!

The only thing that kind of threw me off a bit was that your homepage is your blog and not a "true" homepage. Maybe it's just that I'm not used to seeing it that way. Usually I see a front page that's sort of an introduction with some sort of a "grabber" that leads you into all of the rest of your website content. That's all.

But, overall, it really is quite good IMHO

Shellye, your website is fantastic! Everything I want in mine. I have a webdesigner friend who has offered to setup my domain and wordpress for me. Then it's up to me to do the rest. I have read alot of info about wordpress that gives the impression it's not too difficult. Did you have website building experience before this?

None....zilch! As in no experience whatsoever! lol

It was a bit overwhelming at first, but once I got into it the easier it became. I don't have any experience with html but I am a quick study. I played around a bit with the code in wordpress to get the font size and color scheme that I wanted. I also used my own header which I had professionally created using my logo.

My advice? Make sure you have alot of time to dig into it.
