I'm Live - Finally
You're the first audience I'm sharing this with. I have just gone live about an hour or so ago. If anyone has the time to input, I am open to all kinds of feedback. I will be proofreading one final time tonight before spreading this to the general public.

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Hi there JacksonAO! I was only able to take a quick glance at your site because I'm at the "day" job , but I wanted to let you know that I really like the design & colors of your site! I did notice that some of the sentences are getting cut off, so maybe you can tweak it before sending it out to the "masses"?
Best of luck & congratulations!!

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Wow, I *really* like the colors you chose - very nice. Professional without being boring!
I would suggest just taking a look at formatting for your text a bit - perfect the spacing here and there a bit (I'm on ie7)
I do like the old black and white image you're using in the top right corner but don't get the context - it also loads a bit slow/funny as I move from page to page.
Finally, the 'Free Lunch' concept is GREAT! What a unique way to encourage referrals - very nice!
All the way around, I really like your site - here's a sample of what I see, in regards to sentences being cut off (this is from your About Us page)

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Ok, that is scary. About firefox. I have no clue how to fix that. I'm sure it has something to do with the antiquated version of Frontpage I'm using. It appears that the fonts I'm using are not translating correctly which is why the text is getting cut off. Does anyone know why that does that? How do I know what font to use that is safe? Does the sure have to have the same font in order for it to be read on their computer?
Thanks for the feedback everyone. It is encouraging...

Also the font looks very "fuzzy" with jagged edges, especially on the larger size headings and bolded menu titles, and I also can't access any of the pages when I use Firefox.
Everything is fine on IE. The font looks crisp and clear and navigation works.

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Yes, you want to choose a standard font like Arial, Georgia, Tahoma, Verdana, etc. etc. that every browser will support - it looks like your font is a variation on Myriad (???) try choosing one of the fonts I mentioned and see if it makes a difference.
As to the Firefox issue I have nary a clue about Frontpage so don't know what the issue could be but there are enough Firefox users out there that it's worth investigating. Does your Frontpage account come with tech support or an FAQ?

Re: I'm Live - Finally
OK, before I get too far, I updated the index page and the "about the owner page". Is this looking better? Not my preferred font, but my best option at this point. I have to look into the firefox issue.

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Looks good to me - and I think it's a nice font - looks great!
One thing you could do, if you want to maintain the other font in certain areas of the site is to make graphic headers for your section titles and install it that way, it would show up for everyone then (of course you wouldn't want to do that with your entire content, but used sparingly it could help preserve the image you're looking for through your use of fonts)
Also, what version of Frontpage are you using?

Re: I'm Live - Finally
Sarah, did you create your site in Word or some other text program and then upload your info to FrontPage? THAT would cause the Firefox issue - in my estimation....just a thought.

Yes, I thought about trying that too. I did have some image versions of the buttoms, but anything that links will not work once I publish to the web. Only the text links will work. Which gets to your next question, I'm using Frontpage 2000 which is loaded with issues and is also the problem causing my image link issue. But I'm trying to make do for now. I'll be able to invest in better software when I have cashflow coming in. That is on my to do list. Anyway, thanks Tess.... and everyone else. I'll be updating the other pages. I found a way to edit the code which could solve the firefox issue too but I have to dig further into it to understand the HTML.

Re: I'm Live - Finally
FP is notoriously non-standard compliant, but if you can clean up the code in Dreamweaver or similar you should be visible in Firefox (sounds lke you're already on that page though)
Good luck
