It's looking great and I love the design and colours. I have some suggestions though:

1. I'm assuming you're in the US - important you let people know that so they know what country code to phone if calling you.
2. List the currency you quote your rates in - don't assume people will know what currency you mean. I live in Australia and tend to notice these things straight away.
3. You don't have keywords and description in your meta tags on the home page. These need to go under your title on your home page. You can do a search for a meta tag generator to produce it for you if you don't know how.

I congratulate you on having put in a title though - many forget this and they get 'Home Page' showing up on search engines instead of their business name.

Apart from that I don't think you have a lot more to do and it has a good professional appearance about it. Well done!

Great site but I would add a contact page and hyperlink to your email address so that clients are one click away.

Like the colors and easy to read.

Very nice site and well put together. The only thing I saw that sort of bugged me was the two different color E's at the top. It just didn't look right to me. I like the one on the right and think you should make them more uniform... jmo, of course.

Everything else looks nice!

I liked your use of photos, especially the photo of the person asleep between piles of work, placed next to the question "Who might need a Virtual Assistant?" Nice!

I agree with the poster above about the two "E"s being different.

Very nice job! I would suggest not capitalizing these words underlined. You haven't on the rest of the page, so that's all I see. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks for all the input. I actually just updated my layout so hopefully it's a bit more user friendly. I added a contact page and a blog. I would love to know what you think of the new format.

Also, I orginally made the two E's different because I was asking some people which one they liked best and I actually had a few people say they liked the two different E's. A graphic design major said that it would be a good idea to use the two different E's as a smaller logo, which I thought was a good idea. Someone else said that the first E looked like it was Essential while the 2nd E upped it to Excellence. I'm also the kind of person that wants things to match and it was actually hard for me to leave the E's that way, but in light of those comments, would you still change it?

Thanks again for all your input!!

Cortni,

What I liked the most about your website was the enthusiastic feel I got from it; through the design, the colors, the text, the photos, etc. I thought it well prepared with a nice positive design. I listened to your slide show at the bottom and I was very impressed with your voice and the enthusiasm you showed during the narration. You were very convincing and your words were professional and showed a little bit of your bright personality throughout. I don't think the slide show is finished though. I think it could be tweaked. I think people sit on the first slide too long while you talk and the 3rd slide narration seemed to cut your voice off. You show talent in creating presentations. So as time goes on, you may think about working on picking up the pace in the slides and add more original photos.

I was really impressed with your portfolio page and how well it was laid out. How did you get snapshots of your work on that page?

Overall, you've done a superb job. The video tells more about you and the services you provide, which I liked in the event someone doesn't want to site and read an entire home page.

Jan

Jan,
Thank your so much for your input! This being my first website, it really helps me to know what initially works and what could use some tweaking. I'm going to take your advice and update my presentation. I prepared the presentation for a meeting without the voice narration (because I was able to present it in person) but it's good to know what needs to be fixed for being on the website.

As far as the snapshots go, for the print designs I just made each page a jpeg and inserted it into the page. For the website, I just took screenshots of the page and then made that into a jpeg in Photoshop. If you would like help with any of yours, let me know- I'd be glad to help!
