After many technical difficulties I have my site completed. Please review and give me your honest opinion. I have an issue with the white space above the border. I am debating on making my logo smaller to lessen the white space. My site is hosted with Godaddy I will be moving my site to gatewayvs.com instead of gatewayvs.com/wordpress.

Hi Shante Nice start!

I quite like your logo - though I agree the surrounding space would be better utilized if you could somehow coordinate it with your menu - maybe move the menu up 'inside' that white space to the right of the logo...

I understand why you would choose to use WP for your site, it's a good direction to go in but I'm not sure that the 'blog' type accessories are necessary on every page.
I think what I would do if this was my site is get rid of the icons at the top right, the Twitter and LinkedIn links, the calendar, etc. etc. on any page except your actual BLOG. I think you can safely keep LATEST POSTS throughout your site as long as the only posts it's reporting are actually your real blog posts [and not the 'pages' of your site]

I'm also wondering why the latest post is listed in the sidebar as '1' - better it contains the actual title of your last blog post, no?

It's great that you have a newsletter planned already - but I think you should move the signup box UP into the area 'above the fold' - make it smaller and put it in the sidebar perhaps? Your mailing list is going to be a lifeline to potential clients so you really want to make it obvious and easy for people to sign up. [And you will want to reword the text around the signup area to 'our' newsletter, not 'your' newsletter ]

On the HOME page, instead of having the heading 'home' there above your content, why not write your tagline, or something that will grab your visitor's attention?

And remember that one of the most important things the search engines have to index your site is your content, so make sure your text is rich with keywords. Where you have the heading on the 'About' page - it now reads 'About' - what can you write there instead that will be keyword rich for the search engines AND provide more important information to your visitors?

I have been waiting for a look at your logo and I like it. I know your page is moving soon and that's great too, but wouldn't it be nice if your logo and webpage colors were the same? I found your page taking a while to load and that may be WP not your work. Tess always gives great advice and I agree with all she said above.

Thanks, my husband designed the logo for me. I downloaded a Cache plugin that should allow my page to load faster. When you say it would be nice if my logo and webpage colors were the same, do you mean the page should be blue or should I change my logo color to black.

Logo is great and Tess made some great suggestions. I just looked at your website and your "about" page is blank, not sure if Tess mentioned it.

Using this theme in wordpress has made me want to pull my hair out sometimes. But I think it's worth it.
I checked the about page this morning and removed some html coding that was there. Last night when I uploaded the plugin I must have changed the html by accident. It's been fixed.

Loved your logo! Agree with Tess' comments.

I didn't have any problem loading any of your pages - but, the charges page (I know that's not what you called it but can't remember the header right now) was really slow loading. Everything else popped right up.

One additional comment - I love the blue on your site. If you leave the calendar is there any way the header can be blue?
