Hi Alexis!

Your website is a great start! The fire theme reminds me of someone who has a fire lit beneath them!

Here are some things that I would add on to or change if it were my site:

1. On your first page, I would beef things up a bit. There are great resources (and a free calculator from VA forums) that you could use to authenticate the value of a VA.
2. On your rates/services page I would start the page off with some of your policies. You could talk about how you bill by the minute (or whatever you choose)
3. If you want to continue with a free website and host, try out MS Live Office. They not only give you a free domain name for the first year, but you don't have to worry about having ads on your site either.

Hello!

Congrats on your very first website! I'm sure it's very exciting. Here are my suggestions:

1. Eliminate the Ad banner on top of your website.
2. Consider changing the flaming background and logo because it makes your website look "busy" and hard to read. Also, my first impression when I saw the flames are devil, hell, etc

3. It would be a great idea to include a photo of yourself on your "About Me" page
4. I noticed on Rate and Service page that my mouse cursor had a flame on it whenever I move my cursor on that page while others didn't have it. You may want to elimiate that as well.

Otherwise, I think it looks good. Again, congrats!

I am in the process of builing my own site and I realize how daunting it can seem at times. I visited your website, and found it to be quaint, direct and to the point. I was pleased with it, but different people have different visual reactions. You've done a good job and I am proud of you for the effort which you have put into your site. I just want to encourage you to keep at it until you are happy with it. You should try different themes and things of that nature; just be creative. A website is alot of work and it is a learning process as well. Good job!

Good start, here are my suggestions.

1. Some text is centered and some not (home page and about me) you should be consistant with text placement.
2. All your text looks bold, you may want to remove that from your content so it is easier to read.
3. I don't know if I would keep the satistified or free, some people may take advantange and you may doing alot of one time projects for no pay. Maybe reword that satisfaction is important.
4. Not real crazy about all the ads.

The background theme and logo looks MUCH better!

I agree that it would be more readable if you unbold the text, and try to rid the ad's if possible. Otherwise, fabulous job!! I like it.

I have just viewed your site, Alexis and i like the colours, very warm. But I do think that if you want to be seen to be professional I would use a site builder that does not have ads on it. As suggested earlier, Microsoft office live, is one, I have used it myself and found it easy to use, but a little restrictive if you are very creative.

On your home page, you should let the viewer know how you can help them.

I like that you have put a picture of yourself on you About me page.
I know that it is hard work getting a website together and you have done a great job getting it up and getting you name out there. Have a read on the SEO thread also.

Ok I have signed up on Mircosoft Live and would appreciate again feedback on this one. If this one is better then I will be deleting the Freeweb one.
