Thanks to all of your great feedback, I've launched my website and I'm open for business. I appreciate everyone's comments and now I've launched and am tapping my fingers on the desk waiting for clients to start bombarding me!

I may fall as waiting for them though, so now I have to start spending my time on the marketing portion of this forum and do some !

No Doubt, Lily!!! Ugh...it's the part I dislike the most...'selling myself' to everyone out there. I almost wish I could offer free donuts on my site to get some foot traffic...hey, there's an idea--a VIRTUAL DONUT--NO calories! LOL!

Seriously, I plan on revamping the first page so there's less to read so by the weekend, my site will be revised. It's too 'wordy' if you will and I want it to stand out a bit more...wish me luck! Miss you!

Thanks Denyse! Yes, I built the site on my own with a very BASIC web designing software called Coffee Cup Visual Site Designer (www.coffeecup.com) and I love the software. You can try it out for a short period and download the software from the site. If you like it, you can buy it for only $49 and for that price, it was a steal! I love the software and it worked out well. My logo is my creation as well. I drew the figure free hand and then had a graphic designer friend to render it into a useable graphic that I could put on the web or business cards, etc.

LOTS of work to do all this but well worth it!

You are so nice, JoCarole! That's sweet of you, but really, I DOO need lots of luck--I have very little experience in marketing myself but I'm sure I'll learn.

You drew that freehand! Are you for hire??? LOL

I figured you found the basic design (clipart or whatever) online and then tweaked it in Illustrator or something. I wish I could draw like that!
