Hey everyone!

So I finally got a website up with my domain but I'm not sure if I'm still missing something extremely important. If any of you could look at it and give me some constructive criticism on it, it would be greatly appreciated. I am up to changing anything!! This was basically my big step before I start promoting it via social media so I want it to be the best that it can for now (on my limited budget of course lol). Let me know what you think and feel free to be brutally honest. If you hate it, let me know!! If you love it, do the same!!

Well... I'm bumping it up - even though I think you've probably gotten beyond needing advice by now

I love the color of your site and the fact that you have a picture of yourself on the 'About' page - so SO important to give clients and potential clients a human element to relate to.

You have so many lovely little details in your site, the favicon is a nice touch - overall I think the whole site works very well. I like it!

I always tell VAs that they need to put more focus on SEO, and your site is no exception. And I think you could do more reference linking/calls to action within your own content to other parts of your site to draw people in. I also found a broken link on this page http://www.theresearchace.com/the-va...assistance.php where you are linking to the cost calculator.

Your logo is really neat, but I wonder if you utilized even a little less space for that and allowed more for your content (with those linked calls to action readily visible) if you would find longer visits/more pages per visit, etc.

It looks like you've decided on the blog issue and I would have suggested hosting it on your domain just as you've done (it's so much better for SEO)

All in all I think it's a really neat site!

Thanks Tess. Yeah, I kind of gave up when it got missed. I've been adding a few things here and there. This is a yola page so I can't really make the banner smaller (it would just be a smaller logo with a ton of white space taking up the same amount of the page fold). When I get more money I'll get my website designed by someone but for now I'm using my free resources Thanks for the heads up on the links! I appreciate it!

I think to start, its great.

A redesign may be needed in the future but as you said its a great "for now" site.

I would put the email list sign up at the top of the page however, so no matter what the user sees it on every page. That way they will be more likely to sign in.
