YaY! I have finished my site ! I would like some input prior to publishing it though, so below is the "preview link".

Let me know if I am missing anything you feel is important.

Thanks !

One very important thing to bear in mind is you cannot copy the text from the VAF calculator onto your page and use it as your own [you've used it on your rates page]. You can use the calculator as a whole including links back to VAF but otherwise, this is a violation of copyright.

In looking more closely at the page, it looks like you might have tried to install the calculator but did not do so correctly - please take the time to reinstall the widget so that it provides the correct display as intended including the courtesy and copyright links.
Thanks!

Hi sue!

I think you have the makings of a good website. I would like to suggest placing your business name across the top as a header to fill in the space a little.

I am not familiar with the website tonight, but looks like you have added the most important info in there!

Sue,

I think the overall look and feel of your website is good. I agree with MrsAn that you should have your company name as a header on your home page. I did notice a couple of things though that you may want to check out. On the home page, left side where you have your pages listed instead of it saying "services" it says "page 2". Also I noticed where you should have a hit counter it just says "hit counter". Otherwise I went through all the pages and it is a nice layout. Congrats on your website!

Hi

Something that I'm trying to work on too with my website, but you might want to review is that the text of the website you have to scroll down to. The first impression when someone lands on a site is so important (for SEO too). With your site you need to scroll down to find out anything. Can you reduce the pictures up top.

I'd also put more contact information. Your email, phone etc., on multiple pages.

When I went to your clients page, I kind-of thought I'd be seeing testimonials from clients. Maybe you could rename that page. I see it's for the client. That's probably just me too!

Thanks!

Sue, I would suggest making your fonts more consistent for a more polished look. For example, on your Rates page I see at least three different fonts.

I agree with everyone. good job, just needs a few tweeks. From what I can gather, a website is never really finished its a continual work in progress! Cant wait to get mine going!

Hi

Boy is that the truth! It's always a work in progress. One thing I recently discovered too is that it helps to have others look it over no matter how long you've had it up. I'm getting my site reviewed by another group I belong to ClickMillionaires and the first thing they said was "lose the flowers" as it doesn't relate to the topic of the site. It was really a valuable tip.

I'm sure you'll do so much better having everyone review it here.

Thanks!

Sue,
Congratulations on putting up your website - that's a big step I do have some suggestions:

The home page needs some tweaking - at first I didn't realize there was more towards the bottom (the part with your photo and "What is a Virtual assistant" is hidden from the screen at first glance - perhaps bring that information up towards the top). You definately need your company name more prominent - at least towards the top, perhaps in a more bold font. The "page 2" label needs to change too.

When I clicked on "Clients" I was also expecting to see testimonials or a list of clients. Perhaps change it to "contact us".

Also, I was looking for information about you & your company in particular. Perhaps add a "About Us" tab or section? Say what is special about your company (otherwise, it will seem kind of generic).

Good luck to you!!!

Rachel
