Evening Sam,

First, I think you did a fantastic job. First website?...

Now, on the Executive and Personal services page, the font is not easy to read. Looks flou.. (if that is a word in english!)
Not easy to read. Remember your font should be the same all the way through your website. Changing fonts just confuses the person reading.

You want to draw them in to read more. Not click away because they are aggravated..for whatever reason.

Beside that, I think you have an interesting proposition.

Go for it! And all the best in your new venture.

Elenora

Hi there
I really like the basic design of your site - nice colors, crisp white... but I agree with Elenora about the fonts. There are way too many colors and styles going on on one page and I don't know where to look or what I'm supposed to be reading first. You would do well to reorganize your home page with a clear message right up front, above the fold that includes a call to action - get them to click into the site to learn more about you!

All the 'extra' stuff you have piled onto your home page would do better were it disbersed throughout the site. Give the video more space -wherever you put it, and include your social networking links on your contact or about page. Use your home page to deliver the all important message that you are a service provider with the solution to their business problems.

I would also suggest moving the pop quiz from such a central location on your 'about' page - again, clear message utilizing the first space a visitor sees. The quiz could go on the side or another page altogether.

And I can't find a way to get back to your home page.

I hope that helps a bit!

Thank you so much! The more I look at it, the more I hate it. Ugh. I need a website fairy LOL.

I've just discovered iWeb, so I'm trying to redo it there, and these suggestions will help a lot!

Don't be too hard on yourself - it's a process and always will be. Even when you finally 'get it just right' you'll find yourself working on it here and there. Have fun with it - just focus on each page and do what you can to offer clear messages, bold calls to action for your visitors, etc. Post back when you're ready!
